Time

If you want to know what a year means,
Ask a student who failed all their exams.
If you want to know what a month means,
Ask a mother that gave birth prematurely
If you want to know what a week means,
Ask the editor of a weekly paper.
If you want to know what a day means,
Ask someone born on February 29
If you want to know what a minute means,
Ask a passenger that lost the train.
If you want to know what a second means,
Ask the driver that just avoided an accident.
If you want to know what a millisecond means,
Ask the Olympics’ Silver Medal winner.
If you want to know what a lifetime means,
Never forget how it feels like when you lose someone close to you.
Time doesn’t wait on us, and time doesn’t give any second chances. Yesterday is past and tomorrow is mystery, all that matters is today.
