I feel the warmth of a summer afternoon, on my sunkissed skin, birds flying around all over the clear blue sky... I am there, where my heart is, I am home! But then, when I open my eyes the world becomes superficial and stupid. They think that the tall buildings around would shade one from noticing all that. Maybe I fit in a chair beside you, maybe I don't, or maybe I'm not even trying. All these people around me, as they come and go, my heart just closes a bit more... As they talk back and forth, I just lose a bit more of the ability to listen... As they back off or come forward, I just raise my guard even higher...
