Once

Clown

Grains of sand flowing down one by one, crumbled hidden desires in them, fallen through my fingers. Reaching out to the hourglass, to turn it once more, for one last time, hoping that just this time I will find them all over again on the bottom so I can take them away with me when I shall leave.
Putting smiles on faces just to take them away, raining on the already blue parade, waiting the slow-coming scissors towards the single string that's left, anticipating the fall, just not knowing when...
Patience is the lesson with each second before cutting myself away and with each grain that flows down I hope that when that day will finally come, you'll still not know where to search for those crumbles...
