About love... by Anthony de Mello

A man offered his 12 years old daughter a certain amount of money if she agreed to mown the grass. The little girl started to work with serge the whole evening until the lawn was perfectly trimmed, except for a patch of grass that was left in a corner.
When the father told her that he can’t give her the money because she didn’t respect their deal, the girl answered that she prefers to forget about the money and that she is not willing to mown the patch of grass left.
Curious to know why, the father went to check the section of the unmowed grass and right in the middle of it saw a large toad. The little girl felt sorry for it and refused to crush it with the lawn mower.
Wherever there is love, there is mess. Perfect order would make this world a cemetery.
